Where your driver account is managed by a taxi, private-hire, or transport operator, that operator generally determines which driver and vehicle compliance information is required and how it is used. CAB-X provides the platform used to collect, store, and review that information and generally processes it on the operator’s behalf. CAB-X may process information for its own purposes where necessary to operate and secure the Service, prevent fraud, maintain audit records, or comply with legal obligations.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, username, and password
- Profile Picture: Where provided, your profile picture is stored through the CAB-X platform and may be visible to authorised staff at your operator for identification and account administration. It is not used for facial recognition or biometric identification.
- Booking Data: Pickup and drop-off locations, passenger details, and trip history
- Driver Information: Licence details, vehicle information, and availability status
- Compliance Documents: Photos or PDF files of driver and vehicle documents that you choose, or are required, to upload, together with associated document numbers and expiry dates. These may include driving licences, driver badges, insurance certificates, MOT certificates, vehicle licences, and similar compliance records. The Service only accesses the photo or file you select, or the photo you choose to capture; it does not access your entire photo library or file storage.

3. Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Service, we automatically collect:
- Usage Data: Features used, actions taken, and time spent on the platform
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
